Could be she tries to run a campaign like Clinton's in 1996 (exploiting an opponent, McCain, who has the weakest appeal and support since Dole in 1996).

He wants "you" to be the nominee. Now, why? Because in this case, she's seen as less likely to defeat McCain because her negatives are seen (by Limbaugh and other parties) as worse than Obama's. (This includes a history of outrageous conduct by her, which drove a reviled US public to vote hugely Republican in 1994.)

It's the left wing of the Democrats that's known to normal people as the "do whatever it takes" segment of our political society. That's despite what those so delusional they are on drugs, or hyperactive children in need of drugging, such as with Ritalin if not opium, may say (about strategy and tactics, about taxes, etc.).

If Limbaugh is running a vote drive for you doesn't that tell you anything? Although I do get your point, he feels that McCain has a better chance with her as the nominee so he's trying to arrange that.

And I think he is right, Clinton will run the same type of campaign that lost Kerry and Gore the elections. Basically, pandering to the most recent polls and telling the base what they want to hear. Unfortunately the GOP is way better at that than Dems are, which is why Gore and Kerry, lost. She will do just the same and lose for the same reason.

The way she is doing it it is. Endorsements by Scaife and having Limbaugh out recruiting GOP votes for you? C'mon man. Backing the gas tax because it polls well, then pretending the opinions of educated experts is crap. Thats VERY republican.

I'm sorry, but running a nasty campaign doesn't make you a Republican. I suppose when MoveOn.org starts up its smear machine in the general election, that they'll also be Republicans?

What makes you a Republican is your stance on the issues, not how you campaign. Clinton can campaign like Karl Rove without having to be in his party.

And I support Obama, so don't try the "Oh, you're just a Clintonite" on me. Do I like her method? No. Does it make her a Republican? No.
