The Christian right women I know think that if Obama were to do this it is because he just wants votes. They still think he's a closet Muslim and will turn this country into some haven for people on welfare (they don't say it but they mean, "...for black people on welfare.")

Anything positive they hear about Obama they are sure is a trick.

You just can't change some people's minds, no matter how much sense an argument is.

Hillary Clinton is being very quiet and invisible these days.

As for Obama and the Dems, throwbacks to the Sixties are deservedly dangerous.

Has Hillary changed her name to Waldo or something? Hillary should be standing next to Lilly Ledbetter. She isn't. Why not?

The democrats have a long history of advocating for womens rights, whereas the republicans have usually been content with the status quo... to put it mildly. Anything Obama can do to help "educate" the public as to which party works best in furthering womens' interests will be to his advantage. What may seem obvious to some of us is a mystery to much of the public... which is kind of scary if you ask me.
