After you've driven off the cliff, what will it matter who started the car rollng?
You're still at the bottom, dead.

Some friends are trying to prevent that from happening. Others are helping to push the car closer to the edge.

And some just sit around crying about whose fault it is, both Arabs and Jews.

I'm asked more and more often why anyone else shoul care.
I'm running out of answers, and I'm getting no help here.

DLS - For someone who has probably never set foot in Israel or the West Bank, you sure do have firm views on the subject. Perhaps one of these days we can go together and I'll show you the territories, roadblocks, fences and walls ( I have an Israeli pass by virtue of my relatives and religion). We can go the shul in Beitar Illit and I'll translate for you so your can hear first hand the rabbi and others call the Palestinians the most hateful things imaginable. In short DLS - you need an education in the complexity of the conflict. It's not as black and white as you portray.

I just got back from 3 months in Israel. I wanted to stay for the entire 60th celebration but flight out were so packed the only one I could get was yesterday.

Bush has set nothing back for decades in Israel and the territories, obviously.

Bush isn't even solely respondible for chaos in Iraq, for that matter.

Let's calm down and be real, not let hatred of Bush shove aside reasoning and reality, Sweetie. *wink*

Bush policies in the ME and in the Palestinian conflict with Israel have set the road to peace back by decades.

And he's proud of himself!
