Man I hope Franken wins. I will be so disappointed if Coleman pulls out a squeaker and then gets indicted and thrown in jail.

I can't decide who I'd like to see lose more, Franken the obnoxious bloviating gas bag or Coleman - just another corrupt Republican politician
Either one would make my day- too bad they can't both lose and have the governor appoint a qualified replacement.

Poor Minnesota.
On the one hand they have a possible crook (Coleman) who is by all accounts fairly rude and nasty and has aired some ads that are really over the line.
On the other hand they have someone who is so intolerant of opposing views (Franken) that he has said he 'hates all Republicans' and that he 'does not respect the views' of anyone who is not liberal.
Two real blowhards.
Maybe they need a new election and they can elect a third candidate.

Uh, they did have a third candidate, Dean Barkley, who managed to get 15% or so of the vote. Both of the top two candidates are not well liked (to put it mildly), but it isn't like this whole scenario couldn't have been prevented.
