I am positive. My x husband turned from Duke graduate to prescription drug addict. I spent two years trying to figure it out and then once I did figure it out I tried to help...my mistake. Read Lisa Maria&#39s blog- almost my story exact and the same story of many victims of p.d abuse. According to all the top news sources MJ had been abusing drugs for some time. Yes he appears to have had an eating disorder which as you say, did not help him survive but the main problem was the narcotics. My husband and I had quite a bit of money and well he bought drugs on the internet, stole my prescriptions after I had two major surgeries, bought other peoples prescriptions off of them, and stole prescriptions from other family members (among other things). One of the first signs of what we call "junkie" behavior is if someone asks you if you have any spare pills?! I will stop writing here.

I am actually writing a book about my ordeal so I am not going to post much here but I want to say this: Clarissa, you are one of the people who have been helping me to heal by listening to your AUDIO books. Thank you for your post. I can see we think a little bit a like and that makes me feel great! as I wrote an article titled drugs + money = death

Re: Demerol+Anorexia+Dehydration=Death

If you look into this case (there is more information out now since your first post) a little bit closer the MJ case is all out prescription drug addiction situation.
