I figured out a way to get Republicans on board for all this new stimulus spending. Obama simply needs to name his plan "The War on the Recession." Republicans are always ready for more war.

Sorry...........Dems wanted "change we can believe in", so get out of Daily Kos peanut-gallery mode for once and step up to the plate and lead. We'll check the score in the summer of '10 and start reassessing the lineup at that point.

Under the circumstances a few jokes are the absolute least of it. So... summer of '10 ya say? Puleeeeze!!! After 8 years of amateur hour in the white house it's going to take longer than that. Better get ready for a bumpy ride - and when it comes to the blame game let's try and make an effort to be honest about it.

Blame game? The WSJ has carried articles blaming the consumer for the deepening recession. The problem? We're actually getting out of debt and putting money in savings accounts, horror or horrors!
