He won, hands down. Obama did well, though, Richardson didn't die, as he has in other debates, and Hillary came off as shrill: 35 years in politics, but I'm an agent of change. She lost, BIG!

Re: Edwards And Obama Double Team Clinton In Democratic Debate Wrestling Match

I guess it's obvious enough that two opposing interpretations of the same event say as much about the interpreters as it does the event itself. That said, it's still fun and interesting to read individual reactions. I watched both debates last night, and I thought they seemed in stark contrast to each other, the R's trying to squeeze the last dregs from their old shtick, and seeming out of touch with most of the electorate, whereas the D's came across as more positive and genuinely concerned about the direction of the country. Hillary seemed to do especially well, giving the impression of having control and knowledge of the issues, Obama appeared to be coasting (compared to Iowa), and Edwards seemed a little weary (who wouldn't be), but was passionate in his concern for the middle class people who seem so short of advocates these days. Richardson provided some substance and amusing moments, but I don't see him as lasting much longer. South Carolina ought to be interesting... for both parties.
