The interesting detail in this situation is that it is British citizens; it was British sailors who were seized several months ago and held and exploited for politics and perverse PR before being released. This could happen with these citizens as well.

1. This does not follow from Obama&#39s treatment of the actual issue, the crackdown on election demonstrators.

2. This is not only incorrect, but naive. Dialogue cannot prevent a nuclear war (all it takes is one party to start it among two who are armed with nukes, dialogue or no beforehand) and obviously _will_not_ prevent it.
