Leonidas, thanks for your comment and the quote, I just heard it on CSpan and wanted to comment on it. Because you were so kind to provide me with the quote, I don't have to look it up myself. :)

Here is what Thompson said, "Now our opponents tell you not to worry about their tax increases. They tell you they are not going to tax your family. No, they're just going to tax "businesses"! I could not help but think that this is exactly what Palin did... she raised the sales tax as Wasilla mayor and didn't she raise the windfall profit tax on oil companies? Despite the tax increase she still left Wasilla in debt....

I guess Thompson doesn't even know Palin's record.

My Democratic friends know all about John's record of independence and accomplishment.

Maybe that's why some of them are spending so much time and so much money trying to convince voters that John McCain is someone else.

I'm here, as a Democrat myself, to tell you: Don't be fooled.

I still think he was best as Trudeau, the world weary air traffic controller from Die Hard 2.
