The myth of govt help. Insane. Saddling people who already cannot carry the debt they have with MORE debt so they can have short term money... let me know when we are out of Wonderland and back in the real world. I&#39ve friends who have high escalating interest on mgts who cannot refi, at any rate, with any govt prog, bec their missed mgt payments were turned over to the hounds; collection agencies who say they have no gov stim to work with, therefore pay their usurous late fees plus missed payments or lose house entirely. House next door went to sheriff&#39s auction yesterday. For so so many, way too little, way too much red tape, way too much time passed. Govt, banks, congress, whomever, way way too late and creating a way too complicated morass to help good solid people who simply suddenly lost their jobs.
