Glenn Greenwald Hits The Healthcare Debate Nail On The Head
My advice to poppy Bush: the good of the country is more important than what you want for your sons, so go away.
To be fair, Jeb would not be as big of a disaster as George-- but I'm sure 41 was well aware of W's limitations in 2000 and pushed him along, regardless.
Jesus, I'm tired of the political aristocracy in this nation. The aging Duke of Yale-on-the-Oilsound is sad to see his son, Hotspur "W" Bush, tarnish his the family's contributions to the kingdom, but is now interested in grooming his other son, the Earl of Florida, ascend the throne some day. Meanwhile, a princess of the House of Kennedy seeks to have a seat on the drinking table in the King's Meadhall, while the current lords and nobles and huscarls are dismayed by the deft coup d'etat of the throne by the Moor, General Obama. The General rose through the ranks of the Brotherhood of the Donkey quickly and was groomed to become a stout King's Advisor but seized power for himself from Lady Clinton, who had hoped to become regent after her husband, the late King, had expired from Scorn.
That was fun to write.
SB- Happy New Year to you too- hope you did some serious partying!
I learned that about Republicans, when they defended people like Alberto Gonzales and Lurita Doan during last year's congressional hearings. Therefore, I was not surprised when they kept insisting that Palin was a qualified pick for VP. It all goes back to Reagan's 11th commandment--- never criticize a fellow Republican. So they've acted blind, deaf and dumb since 2001, LOL!
