I'm glad to see Madoff fall, as he has hurt so many with his purely fraudulent Ponzi scheme. But for a pithy (and somewhat profanity laced) expose on the bigger thief, Goldman Sachs, have a look at Matt Taibbi's Rolling Stone article detailing how the Goldman "bubble machine" creates, pops and profits from bubbles from the Great Depression to the next bubble, carbon credits.

Scary and maddening.
