Jazz perhaps there is another way to look at this zero count fishing expedition. . .i would suggest it is an indication that you are just more advanced than most fishermen instead of catch and release, you are more much more zen with release before catch. . .?. . . ."nothing" can be auspicious. . .

but one thing for sure that great niece is definitely a keeper!. . .

None of us are looking forward to her reaching dating age, I'm sure. She already looks like she's going to be a heartbreaker. It will just be a group of men with shotguns guarding the door and her being grounded until she either:
a: Gets married
b: Joins a convent
c: Turns 35

Children, especially on their first trip fishing, always seem to do better than the adults helping them. My 6-year-old recently caught a fish with no bait on the hook, almost slapping the water simultaneously. Me? Nothing.
