Glenn Greenwald Hits The Healthcare Debate Nail On The Head
These people count on the stupidity of the public and their penchant to vote for celebrity.
Yeah Obama, all 57 states.... LOL
That is because Republicans and Democrats believe that they are the government of the United States. They forgot that the people of the United States are the government of the United States. Now, the people of the United States are not really impressive people. They have created two corrupt political parties as a means of elevating their highest aspirations and ideals. So political parties have been the means of elevating military figures, financial leaders, movie actors, and politicians who represent particular actions or goals of society such as former President Clinton or the President-elect. You might say that political party politicians represent the highest ideals of the American people. As I said, the American people are not particularly impressive people.
However, it must be remembered that the American people are what remains of a government created purposely with no accommodation for political parties by people who knew that political parties were inherently evil, but who could not overcome their own addiction to these corrupt self-created societies. So what remains of that government is two corrupt political parties patterned after the European originals and another group of voters still only registered to vote in the way all Americans originally registered to vote, as independent voters. What makes American political parties unique is their complete inability to do anything not done in Europe first. What makes independent voters unique is their complete inability to participate in government. The problem that independent voters have is that they believe what party members tell them, You are not part of the United States government because you do not belong to a political party. Your right to be a candidate for office or to vote in elections depends on party membership because party politicians have written state laws that way.
Abraham Lincoln had it right. A house divided cannot stand. Actually he was quoting a verse from the Bible.
When this house of cards put together by party politicians collapses completely, as it will, independent voters had better start being something more than cheerleaders for political parties.

We need to pull are heads out of our Political ass'es and Think as a whole, not as one Party is better then the other, keep what ever party you want, and as many as you want, But for once in our collective lives do what is right, Who cares who controls what party, are We not suppose to be representing WE the People, Here is my idea for 2009 and beyound, Stop worring about what political party is right, and work to make the right change in your own State, And It can be done one person at a time. I am not going to say what Political party I am a menber of, But I will say I am not a Dem or a Reb, and I am starting a movement in my party that will ask each of my State's Political parties to join me, Not my party in changing how or State vote's, and I am not going to ask any of my State's Parties to change there name or ideal's ot how they should do what they do, that is none of my Bussiness, Just one dedicated American trying to make a real diferreance, Please join me, one person at a time.
