    I don't know. The enemy might say, "why kill this idiot, see he's running away". I never thought this practice had any validity. Standing and fighting to the death knowing that you cannot possibly win is the most courageous IMO. Not much of that among tribal warring behavior.

    She may be qualified and I support a Liberal nominee, but I worry that we are going to regret this particular appointment.

    Perhaps it is silly to actually take the adversarial arguments seriously, but their argument against activist judges rings false. It was pointed out elsewhere that Roberts is as activist as one can get.
    I hope she is confirmed, if for no other reason that the court could use another female voice but the fact that she is latina adds to the mix, in a positive way I mean.
