Thank you for that Prof, well stated and I think very important. Conspiracy or no in any situation really does not matter. At the end of the day we have to resolve the actual problems and even if you think it is a small group "controlling" things in reality the answer is not really getting rid of them but to fix the problems so they are not needed or fix the problem since no conspiracy exists. No matter the cause the real solutions tend to be the same. Trading them with us or this guy with that guy is not really doing anything but re-arranging deck chairs.

John King is slated to replace Dobbs. Not surprising. Someone else who was no doubt in line would be, for example, Roland Martin (who subbed for Campbell Brown when Brown was on maternity leave) or Rick Sanchez (blowhard but bright smile and clear diction, just what that network would be looking for as prime time material).

I look at conspiracy theories more as comfort food. They suggest that we can solve our problems by ousting some small group. It&#39s not that easy.

There are plenty of other, real-world things also to worry about, like "harmonizing" our tax policy with that of a (harmonized) European Union, in addition to energy political policies and other things.

I sort of agree with most of your statement.

But in the 50s, 60s, and 70s; China wasn&#39t poised like it is now.
China has become a communist governed capitalist nation. That wasn&#39t even thought of back in the "good ol&#39 days".

Yes, it is the slowest political change in history. It started with the removal of gold and silver standards, went further with the FED, and is now more possible than ever imagined. I wish I could be as sure as you are. And both major parties have a hand in the NWO thing - for different reasons. But both have acknowledged that, without the global economy and NAFTA-type agreements, China could not be kept at bay economically.

My libertarian side wants America to get out of the global economic control we have currently, although I&#39m not naive enough to say that it would not have global consequences. Right now, we are pretty much stuck where we are.

To agree though I would have to believe that Dem and Repub were conspiring together and the last time I made that error was in 2000 and I have yet to forgive myself for that. I gave those ideas a chance but much like the fear of the NWO after H. W. Bush spoke of the "New World Order" nothing happened so I have to throw it into the "we are being marched to communism" trashcan with all of my Birch stuff. If it were true it is the slowest process of political change in human history considering they have been saying it since at least the 50&#39s and those people were taking their info from people that said it in the 30&#39s/40&#39s. The US goes financially belly up I see a good deal more chance of us going rogue or WWII Germany(not in the gas chamber way but attempted world domination way) long before the North American Union way due to our Nukes our arms and the fact that we are the WTO policemen for the entire world which the corporations profit off of in large ways and I doubt they could talk China into taking our place. If we payed our bills and treated ourselves like we tell third world countries to act I would agree but America did not make those rules for America and I fail to see how the solo world military super power would have its feet held to the fire, yes I know that is evil but its also rational.

I&#39m no conspiracy theorist, but with the purposeful devaluation of the dollar, it appears to be heading in the "Amero" direction. We&#39ve already heard the phrase "looking for a currency to replace the dollar in international markets" kicked around within the WTO and even within the democratic party.

As long as everyone on earth continues to buy Chinese crap, that&#39s the way it will go.
China is the next superpower - and we are personally giving them the reigns.

The uniform is still Navy. These days, it doesn&#39t matter which branch you&#39re in.... You&#39ll eventually see cammouflage. When I was over there, I saw Air Force, Navy, and even Coast Guard in the middle of the desert. That&#39s how we&#39ve avoided a draft.

Well, one of the writers on this site started a thread some time ago about Dobbs&#39s possible departure from CNN, and that writer can now claim additional credit -- Dobbs is leaving CNN.

Speculation on that thread was that he might to go Fox. Would that happen, or would he instead try to go nation-wide with his radio show? Or perhaps join populist-righties and paleocons like Pat Buchanan?
