While crying on the death of an innocent galvanized by the most intelligent stupid of all times-mosavi, it should be understood that there are a lot of internal and external actors who want this movement to be coloured with blood. If mosavi does not believe in the Iranian regime, why he is asking for re-elections. Those who have done some thing with elections would do the same thing again. Who is gonna stop them. Mosavi knows it very well, but his intentions are only to spread chaos and instability.

    Just a question.
How much of this is the Kuwati baby incubator story all over again?
Back during Desert Shield we were treated to a young woman testifying before the UN about Iraqi soldiers removing Kuwaiti babies from their incubators in order to send the incubators back to Iraq.
It later turned out that the woman was the daughter of a Kuwaiti diplomat and that she had not even been in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion and the incubator theft never took place.
It was a story cooked up by the advertising agency hired by the Kuwaiti government to sell the war to the US public.

No much of the reporting from Iran are low quality vid's and audio with zero second sourcing.
As such they have the veracity of a rumor or gossip.
If it was any other subject it would never be reported as fact and would always be accompanied by the label "unconfirmed or unverifiable report" from a source who's veracity we can not confirm.

"How much of this is the Kuwati baby incubator story all over again?"

I had the same thought over the weekend, given all the emotional hype we're being treated to about this and so many other details (rivaling the silly childishness about the "social networks" and Twitter, etc.).

There's nothing we can do and little we should really be doing other than wait and see how this all ends.

"How much of this is the Kuwati baby incubator story all over again?"

With the emotionalism and sensationalism, sadly, we've not all outgrown this. More specifically, in addition, this mainly-young-people's "cause" has been adopted by the lefty kiddies here (along with their favorite techno-toys).

Fortunately, Obama (even though subject to attack by the Left as well as by the Right) is behaving okay.

The LA Times has an article about her on their site, "Family, friends mourn Iranian woman whose death was caught on video."

DLS, when innocent people are killed emotional reactions are normal and appropriate... among those who are capable of empathy that is. Expressions of feeling don't require the intellect to be disengaged either, although that's a common misconception. As for your continuing delusion about being the voice of maturity, it's not as entertaining as it used to be. Any chance you could work up a new act?

My heartfelt prayers go out to Neda Soltani's family for their loss & sacrifice. Like many of our American Military, may she not die in vain, but may freedom ring--loud & clear throughout Iran. Good night twitterverse!

There were 8 security persons of Iran, who were also killed during the same very violence. But world chose the murder of an innocent girl only to exploit and incite emotions against Iran. Those security men were also the brothers of sisters like Neda Solatni. Dont know why moderate voices never rise for those.

Marwa al-Sherbini, a 32-year-old Egyptian national, stabbed to death in front of court. Where is the Independent voice and of course the concern of Europe. The European market sees no buyer for this piece of news.
