I think Sebelius would be a strong choice. The way she has handled the energy debate in her state has been extraordinary. She just didn't just reach across the aisle, she went behind the aisles and pulled support from all sectors. That's the kind of thing Obama stands for most fundamentally. I suspect, however, that in her case the choice would depend upon the internal returns Obama's organization is getting. She's a Dem governor of a red state, which is good. But is she popular enough to actually put Kansas in play? It seems unlikely, but what do I know. From what I've seen and heard of her, she's intelligent, well spoken, experienced (but not top-heavily so), her attitudes largely dovetail well with Obama's, and she's demonstrated herself to be a fighter. The question I have is... how are Hillary supporters likely to respond if she's selected? That seems to me to be more of a wild card than whether she could help to carry Kansas.</p>
