Certain obnoxious pundits were driving me up the blinkin' wall. I find myself emotionally so drawn into this presidential race, almost obsessive about trying to divine the future from the most minute details as though they were tea leaves or I Ching sticks. Maybe it's because there is so much at stake -- we've seen the kind of havoc the wrong leader can wreak, but I also find myself spiraling into an unhealthy state and I need to find a way to regain some balance. I mean, one big clue was my romantic dream last night involving Secret Service agents assigned to me. And why was I dreaming about handsome SS agents? Because I was also dreaming I was a candidate's family member. Whoa ... . . time to regroup. I need to practice some serious self de-programming!
