I don&#39t know about that. An appointment to the senate is an appointment to the senate. If I knew I wasn&#39t corrupt, and that everything would check out I would certainly accept the position. Having being caught in the act, I think Blago decided to make an appointment, without trying to make "good" on it.

As I listened to Burris on the radio this afternoon I just couldn&#39t help but think that it says something basic about someone that they&#39d be willing to accept the appointment from Blago and it isn&#39t something very nice.
