It took me a while to figure out this post, but once I did it seems rather tasteless. I don't think McCain is the best option for President, but making a joke of years of being a prisoner in Vietnam is, um, not appropriate.

What the news is trying to keep under wraps is also the scores of democrats who are refusing to donate to their party BEFORE November. BEFORE AUGUST, actually...

After August, if the more qualified and more unifying candidate has won back superdelegates in the official vote, which hasn't happened yet, then the funds will return in huge amounts. If the soon-to-be (just after the vote) scandal ridden Obama http://houseofpolitics.com/... is nominated in spite of his lesser experience and promise as a divider in November for a loss, then the democratic party can kiss its gravy-train goodbye.

In the face of angry voters, McCain must establish himself as a strong fiscal conservative or risk a backlash from his party.

In Orange County, CA, we are already seeing a backlash from donors against the party- they'll be stopping contributions in November if fiscal irresponsibility continues, and incumbent Republicans don't start acting like Republicans.

So we're in the throes of an immense economic crises.

What to do? Maybe we should nominate a candidate with previous experience in bringing our economy back to the best it's ever been.

Seems like a radical idea, but it just might work.
