Sadly true, Austin. It seems as if they will manage to keep writing new laws doing their best to ignore the SC decision until the end of time. After the next law is knocked down they will pass a new one saying it's legal to keep and bear arms unless they are made of metal or any other substance beside lettuce.

Jazz - he did not even try to register his 'real' gun, as it is a pistol that uses a magazine, which cannot under these obviously soon-to-invalidated laws be registered.

That is because even though his clip is only 9 shots, any gun that uses a magazine is classified as a 'machine gun', because MAYBE you could put a 15 shot magazine in it.

Also, Washington DC decided that any semi-automatic, i.e., each pull of the trigger fires a shot but the gun resets itself for the next shot, is actually in fact also a machine gun.

As I recall, she was in jail. I don't have the story at hand this morning, but I believe projections for their future marital stability were in doubt.

He needed surgery to remove them and some antibiotics, of course, but he was back home the same day.

Where was his wife when he got back?

This story makes one wonder about Dick Heller's marital status.
