The whole "sanctity of marriage" argument never made any sense to me, given the divorce rate for heterosexuals has been steady at 50% or so.  I agree Slamfu, I could care less if gay people want to marry.  Who knows? I honestly don't care if gay people want to marry, but I do care when people start crafting laws that butt into others business for no particular reason.   Or rather, for all the wrong reasons.
