Smiling at Shannon&#39s joke, but, at the same time, countries really are allowed to have different moral standards. Just because someone in Norway thinks blowjob jokes are great to advertise national chains, it doesn&#39t mean I have to think so. If I were to go to Indonesia, I&#39d try to remember not to use my left hand to pass things to Muslim friends, not just go, "bah! in Europe, no one cares about the left hand. You&#39re all a bunch of idiots."

Was it just a slogan?

I am not talking about the Republican folks. I am talking about Republican politicians who built an entire movement on a lie that has now been exposed.

It&#39s not the offense necessarily, we all sin. It&#39s the hypocrisy and the political preaching and judgment passed on others

Apparently, his wife has known about the affair for the past five months. I know absolutely nothing about her as a person, but no one deserves to be cheated on like that. I feel for her.

I&#39m also someone who said that I didn&#39t particularly care about Ensign having an affair. But, yeah, Sanford&#39s greater political ambitions are toast for at least the rest of the decade. Disappearing for a week to visit your mistress in Argentina while lying not just to your wife, but seemingly your own staff and security? It doesn&#39t scream "elect me!"
