Both were likely among the very few legislators briefed about it. Panetta was always outspokenly against it. Obama appears to be staying far away from those associated with "enhanced interrogation" (can we say potential war crimes?). There&amp;amp;#39s some serious wet cleanup to be done at the Agency, and I think Panetta with his Mr. Fixit reputation is a good pick.
