And King doesn&#39t know his history, either. According to this site the total number of fatalities on the Union side, including from disease, etc. was 360,222. The Confederates who died did not die trying to put an end to slavery.

This post is not about reparations, ancient Egypt, Philadelphia&#39s Valley Swim Club, Bush being evil, or conservatives in general being pathetic. In my view, it says a lot that, having nothing you can thing of to say about the subject of this post, you have to criticize what I didn&#39t write, in any post at TMV, about subjects I didn&#39t write about.

If you have no comment to make, you can simply not comment. Or, you can express your real, actual, and true opinion about the House resolution I wrote about in this post, and one House member&#39s refusal to vote for it. You will not do that -- maybe because you know it&#39s not really a defensible position.

There may have "only" been 645,000 slaves brought to America, but there were millions who were born into slavery from those "immigrants."

I, for one, would like to know which of Martin Luther King, Jr&#39s words Steve King doesn&#39t agree with.

OK.... and the 645,000 does not even include the slaves who died in the horrible conditions on their way over here, nor does it count the people born into slavery over many generations in the US.

Nothing that me and my Louisville slugger can&#39t get straightened out. Betcha I can get him believing that the devil actually exists in 15 minutes and to convert to a moon worshipper in 20 minutes.

My championship round was the riot that I started with a pool cue in a logger bar in Springfield OR. Not safe to talk this way around me.
