The Moderate Voice: 'The Banana States of America': From Panama America, Panama

    As an Expat living in Panama for two years, and currently dealing with legal issues, all I can say is I would rather reside in this "banana republic" than theirs.
    What we would consider to be a nothing thing, in Panama it is brain surgery. Everything is difficult. No easy solutions. Many of the Panamanians have very little common sense.
    So when you speak of our country as another "banana republic" you must look at the whole picture, not isolated incidents.
