As a Black Southerner with a broad spectrum of connections, I can assure that at least our new overlords, the Chinese, eat the same food: pig's feet, chicken feet, chitterlings (correct spelling), etc. They just have different seasonings. Now that I think of it, five spice would be good on chicken's feet.
