I understand that this is exactly one of the big criticisms against both text messaging and tweeting.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The fact that Twitter forces the "tweeter" to pack as much commentary as possible into 140 characters lends itself to even more "murdering" of the English language--or of any language.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Having said this, I am sure tweeting has some benefits...as perhaps we are seeing in Iran&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Dorian&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">D. I have a Twitter account but have yet to learn how to tweet.  The Twitter directions are not clear on how to leave a tweet.  I think the twitterers are all raised on text messaging.
