Why would you want palin as president when she won&#39t finish her currant duties. She would just bail out when the going gets tough. I really belived in her what a disappointment.

My guess is that Palin crumbled under the increased media scrutiny that has come her way since McCain first announced her as his running mate. She thrived in obscurity as Wasilla&#39s mayor and Alaska&#39s first female governor, but couldn&#39t handle the tough stuff on the national scene.

Probably Palin&#39s resignation makes no sense because she is feeling the need to take herself and her family out of the public eye, yet strives to appear noble while doing so. This is necessary in case she decides at a later date to seek the presidency or run for the senate.

I&#39d say that we dodged a bullet by not electing the McCain/Palin ticket, because she would have fallen apart in office.

Yeah but sensationalism is not a good way to keep the public&#39s attention-it&#39s shallow. No substance. It works only short term. And the public has a very short attention span. Take Octo-mom for example. Trust me on that.
