We have one, his name is Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer, a great speaker, debater, and inspirational leader. He, with only access to Minnesota money, has been outshining Franken and his political machine that extends to both coasts. Even before the tax issues have been hitting Franken's campaign, the sheer power of attraction has been seeing delegates twho are responsible for the party endorsement in June sliding towards Nelson-Pallmeyer. Don't worry. We are Minnesota, and our grass roots are alive and well and producing a genuine real deal progressive that will awe the rest of the country. Remember him: Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer.

Re: Vetting Al Franken

I found it hard to believe that Franken' could get this far.
When I 've heard him speak,, he left more of an impression like a guest on Bill Mahr's show (all punch lines, no depth) than a serious politician.

Re: Vetting Al Franken

Actually, there is a much better Democratic candidate for this U.S. Senate race in Minnesota. His name is Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer. He is more progressive. His style is more local. He is a brilliant speaker. And he is breathing down Franken's neck for delegate votes, which will endorse a nominee at the state Democratic convention in early June. Check out Jack's website at http://www.jackforsenate.org
